The Email Marketing Specialist coordinates the creation, development, and deployment of all email communications. This role supports the organization on email marketing initiatives and ensures email campaigns are deployed according to ACOG policy and best practices.

Note: This position is considered Hybrid and will need to commute to ACOG's office located in Washington, D.C.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, design, and deployment of email communications, surveys, and landing pages/forms in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Build and schedule email marketing campaigns, ensuring proper audience segmentation and accurate setup of dynamic content and links.
  • Assist in developing basic segmentation and personalization strategies informed by user behavior and key performance metrics.
  • Perform A/B testing on subject lines, content, and images to improve open and click-through rates.
  • Maintain and organize tracking data, including UTM parameters, and assist with campaign performance reporting in Google Analytics and other platforms.
  • Test and proof all emails for accuracy and compatibility across devices, browsers, and email clients.
  • Maintain the organization-wide email communications calendar and coordinate timelines to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and prepare regular reports to support optimization efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and permission-based marketing regulations in partnership with the marketing and IT teams.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of email marketing and automation tools (experience with Real Magnet preferred).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation concepts such as personalization, segmentation, and testing.
  • Experience with project management tools or software such as Wrike.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of email design principles, analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in email marketing or digital marketing support using a marketing automation platform (such as Real Magnet, HubSpot, Marketo, or Informz).
Salary Range
$65,000$75,000 USD
