The Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance and Accounting organization and is essential to the success of Axia. The Financial Analyst works directly with a cross-functional team to support all aspects of finance and drive key elements of the forecasting and reporting cycles. The Financial Analyst will also contribute to the preparation of presentations for Operations, Clinical Leadership, Board of Directors and Senior Leadership.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in monthly preparation of care center financial dashboards and compensation summaries
- Assist in the development of compensation models and solutions that will help grow and support internal business goals
- Partner with the operations team to drive performance and strategic planning
- Support the FP&A and Operations Teams with strategic projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed
- Collaborate with internal customers to develop client focused analytic models, methodologies, and reports to meet client and advisor needs
- Facilitate reviews and improvement planning with business units and cost centers for performance gaps
- Communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand manner
- Support the monthly closing process and develop insightful variance analyses
- Prepare financial analysis, variance analysis, and budget vs. actual reporting. Conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide insight into existing operations
Skills:
- Ability to synthesize large data sets and identify trends and key information
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly with Excel and Financial Modeling
- Strong analytical, written communication, interpersonal, listening, interviewing and organizational skills
- Strong documentation skills (narratives and flow charts)
- Adept at visualization and presentation abilities to support communication, findings, and plans
- Project management skills and ability to manage to deadlines
Experience and Education:
- Minimum Bachelor's in in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate finance or analytics
- Experience with data management and data visualization tools and applications such as SQL Server, PowerBI, Qlikview, Tableau, etc
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
