The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive, specialized care to women across the lifespan, with a strong emphasis on metabolic, mechanical, and mental health. This role blends clinical expertise, patient education, and digital care innovation to support sustainable behavior change and improved health outcomes.

This is a full-time/40 hours/week, fully virtual (in Pennsylvania) position.

  • Conducts thorough nutrition assessments and develops individualized nutrition care plans utilizing the Nutrition Care Process.
  • Provides patient counseling, ongoing progress monitoring, and evidence-based nutrition education.
  • Practices in a fully virtual environment, leveraging digital tools and EMR systems for patient engagement and documentation.
  • Collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team—including an Obesity Medicine Physician, Nurse Practitioners, and Health Coaches—to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Uses digital tools and online programming for patient engagement including EMR
  • Supports patients in achieving optimal metabolic and mechanical health through motivational interviewing and a focus on sustainable habit formation.
  • Creates educational materials, including handouts and video content, to enhance patient understanding and engagement.
  • Participates in online programs, group sessions, and digital initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of nutrition and dietetics principles, especially in women’s health, obesity care, and weight management.
  • Demonstrated skill in behavior-change counseling, motivational interviewing, and habit-change psychology.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, empathy, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and well-versed in a variety of nutritional approaches to meet patients where they are.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, make sound clinical judgements, and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • High level of computer proficiency with solid understanding of EMR/EHR and other healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth, particularly in Obesity Medicine and Menopausal Health.
  • Open-minded, curious, and passionate about advancing patient-centered nutrition care.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian, with a significant focus on women's health and weight management
  • Licensure: Must hold an active Dietitian-Nutritionist License (LDN) in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Certification: Current, active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Certificate of Training in Obesity Management or CSOWM certification
  • Master’s degree in a related field required.

Pay range: $90,000-$120,000 USD

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role. However, final offers may fall outside this range based on experience, skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. This range is for full-time employment.
