We are currently recruiting an experienced Sonographer to join our AIUM accredited care center as a PRN staff in East Brunswick Piscataway and Edison locations. The Sonographer will perform ultrasounds for standard and High Risk OB Cases and GYN.
Hours: PRN varied days per week 8-5:00 pm (but could be earlier or later depending on schedule)
- Ultrasound Scanning: Performs routine, diagnostic, gynecological, and obstetric ultrasound examinations .
- Patient Care: Interacts with medical staff to ensure safe, high-quality care; positions patients; and explains procedures for optimal results .
- Clinical Protocols: Adheres to established protocols, infection control standards, and proper probe handling .
- Operational Support: equipment maintenance, and supply inventory .
- Documentation & Service: Maintains records and reports while providing flexible, responsive customer service .
- Additional Duties: Performs other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience performing Obstetrical and GYN scanning.
- Degree/certificate from an accredited ultrasound program.
- Current RDMS, NT and CPR certifications.
- Perinatal experience.
- Knowledge of CPT coding and eClinicalWorks (EMR) are beneficial.
Pay or shift range: $37 USD to $45 USD
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
