About the role
Clue is looking for a talented and versatile freelance Brand Copywriter to join our Marketing team on a part-time basis (approx. 20 hours per week). This role will focus on crafting impactful brand and marketing copy that strengthens our tone of voice and supports our growth across channels.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a copywriter in brand and marketing contexts.
- Proven experience as a copywriter for mission-driven brands.
- Ability to adapt voice and style across multiple platforms and audiences.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (email, social, web, paid media, ASO).
- Creative, strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and shifting priorities.
- Bonus: Experience contributing to brand positioning and/or commercial partnerships.
- Bonus: Experience working in women’s health and/or lifestyle landscape.
What you’ll do
- Write and edit compelling copy for a variety of brands and marketing channels, including:
- Email, in-app messaging (IAM), and push notifications
- Website and landing pages
- Social media content
- App Store Optimization (ASO)
- Paid campaigns
- Contribute to brand positioning and commercial partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with channel leads to align copy with broader marketing strategies.
- Work with autonomy to establish systems and frameworks for copy requests that serve the needs of the marketing team.
- Play a key role in shaping Clue’s tone of voice and brand evolution.
What you won’t need to do
- This role will not be responsible for handling copy requests from Product, Support, or Legal—these will be covered separately.
Contract details
- Freelance contract
- ~20 hours per week (4 hours/day)
- Availability required during Berlin working hours (ideally mornings EST)
- Initial 3-month contract with strong potential to extend
- Start date: End of September/ Early October
