Role Description:
We are looking for a full-time Senior Physician Recruiter passionate about helping build people-focused clinical teams within a fast-growing company! The Physician Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified physicians and may help with recruiting advanced practice providers (APPs) to meet the staffing needs of Diana Health. This role manages the full-cycle recruitment process - from initial candidate outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding - ensuring a white glove experience for both candidates and hiring leaders. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, excellent relationship-building skills, and a strategic mindset to support the organization’s growth and retention goals.
What you’ll do:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for physicians and APPs, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, credentialing coordination, and contract facilitation.
- Candidate Sourcing: Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies through networking, job boards, professional associations, residency programs, and digital recruiting platforms.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency and fellowship programs, and physician networks to create long-term talent pipelines.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with recruiting leadership, clinical and operational leaders, and HR to understand staffing needs, practice opportunities, and organizational goals.
- Marketing & Outreach: Develop creative recruitment campaigns and materials in collaboration with marketing teams to promote practice opportunities and highlight the organization’s culture and benefits.
- Interview & Selection Coordination: Schedule and facilitate interviews, site visits, and follow-up communications, ensuring a seamless, white glove candidate experience.
- Negotiation & Offer Management: Assist in drafting and negotiating employment offers in collaboration with leadership, HR and legal teams.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate recruitment data, track metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness), and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws, organizational policies, and credentialing standards.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of physician recruiting experience required
- Experience recruiting Obstetrician-Gynecologists (OB-GYNs) highly preferred
- Ideal candidate will have worked in agency and hospital or large medical group setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging ATS and CRM tools; ideally Greenhouse
- Strong understanding of physician compensation models and credentialing processes
- Experience with Google Suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented, sense of urgency and strong project management skills
- Ability to write clear and concise reports and professional correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and clinical candidates
- Ability to solve practical problems in situations where limited standardization exists
- Must have the ability to multitask, manage multiple searches simultaneously and work well in a fast paced environment under time constraints
- Demonstrated ability to excel working independently and remotely
