Role Description
The HR Generalist supports the full employee lifecycle by managing HR operations, onboarding and offboarding processes, employee records, and compliance activities. This role serves as a key administrative and operational partner to employees and leadership, ensuring a positive employee experience and adherence to employment laws and company policies.
What You Will Do:
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Manage all administrative aspects of non-provider onboarding, from offer letter through the employee’s first day of employment
- Perform HRIS data entry and conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Set up new employees across all Diana Health systems - Serve as the primary administrative liaison for new employees during the onboarding process
Employee Records & HR Operations
- Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential personnel records for employees and contractors
- Support ongoing HR operations, including updates to employee data, documentation, and system records
Policies & Documentation
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and maintenance of the employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and updating of HR policies and procedures
Offboarding & Insights
- Oversee the employee offboarding process, including administration of offboarding checklists and system access deactivation
- Collect, collate, and analyze exit interview survey responses
- Identify trends and share insights and recommendations with the leadership team
Compliance & Risk Management
- Support Diana Health in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist with audits, documentation requests, and compliance-related reporting as needed
Additional Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned that are reasonably within the scope of this role
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field
- Minimum two years HR work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Detail oriented with strong project management skills
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and third-party administrators
- Ability to solve practical problems in situations where limited standardization exists
- Must have the ability to work well in a fast paced environment and under time constraints
