About the role
The Regional Dietitian Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily program operations and care delivery. The Regional Dietitian Manager will report to the Director of Nutrition and will have direct supervision of Dietitian Leads who supervise staff dietitians. The Regional Dietitian Manager will have strong experience in eating disorder care delivery, both as a supervisor and in delivering patient care. The Regional Dietitian Manager is able to work closely and effectively with multiple members of the clinical care team and provide guidance, accountability, and oversight of staff dietitians.
Responsibilities

People Management:
Own the success of your team and flag ongoing improvement opportunities to improve outcomes.
Ensure all Leads and staff dietitians adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance expectations.
Provide continuous feedback as well as initiate performance improvement plans when necessary.
Write and deliver performance reviews

Clinical Leadership
Understand and adhere to Equip’s treatment philosophy
Have a strong understanding of Equip’s evidence-based models that support strong clinical outcomes
Provide clinical consultation for Dietitian leads and dietitians on complex cases and on an as needed basis. This includes being an active participant in the clinical phone tree.
Patient Care responsibilities include coverage as needed (e.g., when providers are OOO)

Quality & Operational Oversight
Utilize data and metrics to guide decision making
Support quality improvement initiatives that align with company and department OKR’s (e.g. session utilization)
Ensure consistency and accuracy of care delivery policies and procedures within Equip, effectively disseminate to staff dietitians, and manage accountability.
Support the Nutrition team to meet operational goals (e.g. provider utilization, productivity)

Change Management:
Identifying gaps and needs within the team and structure of care delivery and be proactive and solution-focused to solve problems
Disseminate changes to the team using a structured change management approach; ensuring visibility and clear communication

Team Work and Cross Functional Collaboration
Work as a team with other Regional Dietitian Managers as part of the Nutrition leadership group.
Lead key initiatives that contribute to the success of the organization and are aligned with company and department OKR’s
Engage in cross-functional collaboration across care delivery verticals and with cross-departmental stakeholders and partners.
Work collaboratively with care teams to ensure staff dietitians are providing the highest quality care to families and patients.
Perform other duties as assigned
Ideally someone will be in West Coast or able to work West Coast (PST/MST) hours.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in treating patients with eating disorders or other mental health diagnoses.
3+ years of experience supervising a team of dietitians or dietitian managers at varying levels of experience.
Eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment at a growing company
Ability to identify problems and understand the root cause, and how to plan to fix it.
Ability to safely and effectively deliver evidence-based outpatient care in a virtual care model.
Team builder and culture champion
Preferred Master’s degree in nutritional science, public health, or related field and active, unrestricted license within home state.
Physical Demands
Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
