Hello Sunshine is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Partnerships Director to actively drive revenue and audience growth through content and media partnerships across Hello Sunshine properties (Hello Sunshine O&O, The Home Edit, Reese’s Book Club).

We are seeking an experienced media and marketing partnerships professional with a strong background in building, selling and executing campaigns that drive audience growth and business development. The Director is responsible for developing, selling, and managing strategic partnerships for Hello Sunshine (The Home Edit & Reese’s Book Club) that drive new customer acquisition, brand awareness and revenue growth. This role is best suited for a marketing director with a strong advertising/media sales background and deep, direct to client relationships with brands looking to reach female consumers. The role will report to the SVP, Growth Marketing.

Please note we will be reviewing all candidates at the beginning of 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment. He/she/they will have a highly collaborative approach to work and possess an entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to build teams and brands
  • Collaborate with external partners to create high-performing co-marketing campaigns that drive meaningful impact for both our brands/business and our customers
  • Identify potential partners, build the marketing solutions, establish KPIs, negotiate agreements, and coordinate marketing efforts across the digital and experiential eco-system to drive results
  • A self-motivated marketing partnership/sales executive with experience building a pipeline of outbound leads and turning prospects into business partners
  • Experience closing/managing large, strategic partnerships and co-marketing deals ($150K+)
  • Ability to develop co-marketing plans that deliver on both revenue and audience growth
  • Quick, creative thinker and idea contributor
  • Solid understanding of of marketing principles and strategies to develop high-performing campaigns that align with company goals and priorities and audience needs
  • Experience in analyzing performance and effectiveness of co-marketing campaigns and making data-driven decisions to optimize client success.
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue revenue from new clients to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Nurture and own client direct relationships and identify new areas for engagement, organic growth and incremental business
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of Hello Sunshine IP, brands and programming, creator networks, talent, social platforms, emerging consumer channels and technologies, key tentpole events/experiences and the company’s various offerings
  • Represent the client perspective in the development of insight-led & multi-channel campaigns and partnerships

Requirements

  • 7+ Years in a marketing organization (co-marketing/partnership marketing, integrated marketing, sales, etc.) and tangible experience in selling content and media partnerships, influencer marketing, agency services, strategy, creative, and social
  • Results-driven sales executive with a reputation for meeting and exceeding revenue goals and motivating sales teams
  • Proven track record for being a self-starter, solution-oriented strategic thinker, thoughtful decision maker and creative collaborator
  • Client-first, relationship-oriented leader with an extensive book of business and deep relationships with Fortune 500 brands and clients looking to reach a female consumer
  • Customer-obsessed executive who keeps the focus on the most impactful way to engage, grow, and identify new client opportunities
  • The unique ability to amplify the Hello Sunshine portfolio of brands, internal successes, and the unique differentiation that gives us a competitive advantage in the hearts and minds of our clients
  • Strong operational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong managerial skills and the ability to drive comarketing campaigns through executional completion, while also managing a pipeline of pitches in various stages of the sales process
