About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and dependable sterile compounding pharmacy technician to set up and maintain our compliance software. As part of the pharmacy team, you will use your knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 to set up, maintain and structure our compounding compliance task management and documentation software. This role will report into the Director, Sterile Operations. This role is Remote but will require travel to OH and AZ.
You Will:
Ensure software compliance program is set up prior to facility starting compounding
Ensure compounding staff at the facility are trained in use of the compliance software
Ensure all aspects of compliance software are correctly set up to ensure reports can be generated to indicate compliance with USP 795, 797, and 800
Run daily reports and report compliance to Sterile Compounding Manager, Pharmacist and Lead Sterile Compounding Pharmacists
Run monthly reports and provide detailed summary to Sterile Compounding Manager, Pharmacist and Lead Sterile Compounding Pharmacists
Superior understanding of the requirements of USP 795, 797, and USP 800 in terms of documentation and competency assessments.
Be available after hours to answer questions on the system (limited to urgent situations)
You Have:
3+ years Compounding experience
2+ years working with Compounding Compliance Software.
Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician® (CSPT®) is an advantage but not a requirement
Current registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of residence
Ability to teach and train others in compounding software.
Ability to troubleshoot
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills and can work independently.
Full time role 40 hours per week

Conditions of Employment:
This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.
This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.
