About the Role

The Vice President of Strategic Business Lines will report directly to the EVP, Clinical Excellence. This executive leader is responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance across critical areas of the organization.

This role provides executive oversight and scalable operational leadership across Tissue Storage and Logistics, KindRx, KindMan, KindLabs, and KindEOS. The VP will drive both strategy and tactical execution to support growth, margin expansion, and operational excellence across each respective business unit.

Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, this leader will serve as a trusted partner to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, engaging both internal and external partners to ensure programs evolve effectively and scale sustainably.

Executive Scope of Responsibility

  • Provide executive oversight and scalable operational leadership across all assigned Strategic Business Lines.

  • Own short- and medium-term strategic action plans aligned with enterprise KPIs, growth targets, and margin goals.
  • Ensure seamless day-to-day management and long-term optimization of:
    • Tissue storage and logistics
    • KindRx
    • KindMan
    • KindLabs
    • KindEOS
  • Drive operational efficiency, financial success, and quality patient outcomes across business units.
  • Serve as the accountable executive for cross-functional coordination and execution.

Strategic Growth & Margin Optimization

  • Develop and execute operational strategies that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and scalability.

  • Identify opportunities for automation, workflow enhancement, and cost optimization.
  • Partner closely with Finance, RCM, Operations, Clinical Excellence, and Lab Leadership to ensure financial alignment and performance tracking.
  • Establish performance metrics and accountability structures across business lines

Vendor Integration & Program Operationalization

  • Lead the clinical and operational implementation of new third-party partnerships and offerings.

  • Translate executed agreements into scalable operational workflows, including:
    • Development and standardization of KindWAYs
    • EMR alignment and functionality optimization
    • Billing and revenue cycle integration
    • Staff training frameworks
  • Drive structured project management to ensure efficient execution.
  • Develop performance-based bonus structures tied to implementation success, efficiency, and financial performance.

Tissue Logistics & Compliance Leadership

  • Provide executive oversight of tissue logistics operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with lab leadership to align processes with state-specific regulations.
  • Lead operationalization and automation of the cryostorage partnership, including:
    • Standardized workflows for scheduled transports to long-term storage (LTS)
    • Dedicated workflows for oncology patients
  • Finalize and standardize all tissue-related KindWAYs, including transport and disposition processes.
  • Support and guide coordinators in ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee and manage escalations both operationally and from a patient experience perspective

Cross-Functional Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Engage internal and external, clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to ensure programs evolve and scale effectively.

  • Serve as the executive escalation point for operational challenges.
  • Identify systemic workflow gaps and proactively implement improvements.
  • Maintain enterprise-level documentation and governance standards across business lines and partners.
  • Develop patient-facing educational materials to guide individuals through their lifecycle within the organization.
  • Support expansion initiatives for KindLabs and KindMan.
  • Provide key operational insights and oversee implementation of additional programs as they are introduced.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • 5–6+ years of healthcare leadership experience required; fertility experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated executive-level experience in operations, quality assurance, and compliance management.
  • Strong strategic thinker with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven ability to scale programs in fast-paced, high-growth healthcare environments.
  • Exceptional communicator with experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and the ability to independently drive initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable operating under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experienced in EMR workflow alignment.
