POSITION SUMMARY:

Natera is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Director, Commercial Enablement –

Oncology to lead the data, analytics, and orchestration capabilities that power commercial excellence

across the Oncology business. This leader will be responsible for shaping and advancing data-driven

enablement strategies for Business Unit Marketing and Medical Affairs, while partnering closely with

Sales Operations, Corporate Marketing Analytics, Technology, and other cross-functional leaders

to improve commercial performance and decision-making.

This role will serve as a key connector across field and home-office teams, ensuring the organization has the right data inputs, vendor partnerships, workflows, and analytical frameworks to support effective omnichannel engagement. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in commercial enablement, life sciences data ecosystems, and AI-enabled orchestration, with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable tools, processes, and next-best-action capabilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Lead the commercial enablement strategy for Natera’s Oncology business, with a focus on data,

analytics, omnichannel orchestration, and workflow optimization.

● Drive the development and execution of data and analytics initiatives that support BU Marketing and Medical Affairs, enabling more targeted, measurable, and effective stakeholder engagement.

● Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Corporate Marketing Analytics, Technology,

field leadership, and functional stakeholders to align data strategy, reporting, business rules, and

enablement priorities.

● Own the commercial data ecosystem for the Oncology business, including management of key data inputs, data quality, vendor relationships, and ongoing optimization of external data sources

such as claims data and other relevant market intelligence.

● Ensure commercial teams have access to the right insights, dashboards, and analytical tools to

support planning, execution, and performance measurement.

● Build and refine omnichannel orchestration frameworks across disparate field and home-office

teams, helping standardize how engagement is designed, activated, and measured.

● Lead the evolution of AI-enabled workflows that improve commercial orchestration and support

next-best-action / next-best-engagement recommendations across teams.

● Translate complex commercial questions into practical, scalable solutions by partnering with technical teams to define data requirements, workflow logic, automation opportunities, and product

● Establish governance and operating models for commercial data usage, KPI definitions, audience

segmentation, and measurement frameworks.

● Identify opportunities to simplify fragmented processes and improve coordination across commercial functions through better systems, analytics, and decision support.

● Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders by bringing forward actionable insights,

performance trends, and recommendations to improve execution and resource allocation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

● 8-10+ years’ experience in commercial enablement, commercial operations, analytics, marketing

operations, sales operations, commercial excellence, or related functions, preferably in life

sciences, diagnostics, biotech, or pharmaceuticals.

● Significant experience supporting oncology or other complex specialty businesses preferred.

● Demonstrated success leading enterprise or business-unit-level initiatives involving commercial data, analytics, and omnichannel engagement.

● Advanced degree preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

● Deep understanding of healthcare and commercial data sources, including experience working

with claims data and third-party data vendors.

● Experience managing vendor relationships, data feeds, data quality expectations, and business

requirements tied to external datasets.

● Strong knowledge of commercial orchestration, customer engagement strategy, segmentation,

targeting, and field/home-office coordination.

● Experience designing or advancing AI-enabled workflows, decision-support models, or next-

best-action capabilities within commercial organizations.

● Proven ability to work across functions and influence senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed

environment.

● Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data strategy to commercial outcomes.

● Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex

concepts for diverse audiences.

● Experience partnering with technology teams to translate business needs into scalable platforms,

processes, and tools.

● Demonstrated ability to promote accountability, transparency, and measurable outcomes

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

● This position is primarily a remote, office-based role and is largely sedentary in nature. The

employee will regularly be required to sit, stand, and use a computer and other standard office

equipment for extended periods of time. Regular use of hands for typing, operating a mouse, and

communicating via phone or video conferencing tools is required. The ability to communicate

effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential.

● The work environment is a home office or remote office setting with minimal physical demands.
