The Position

As a Senior Specialist, you’ll partner with our Science and Technology (S&T) organization and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies. Here’s what you’ll take ownership of:

• Lead and Innovate: Drive financial forecasting and management reporting, and oversee consolidated reporting that informs key business decisions.
• Be a Strategic Partner: Work closely with the business, providing financial insights and actionable analysis that support their objectives.
• Optimize and Improve: Contribute to the enhancement of business processes, implementing smarter and more efficient financial workflows.
• Support and Advise: Provide essential financial guidance on a variety of topics

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports.
• Oversee monthly closings and conveying results to business partners.
• Development of financial forecasts.
• Partner with budget owners to manage spending, focusing on headcount, operating expenses, and financial targets.
• Use financial modelling and analysis to support ad-hoc requests.
• Challenge the status quo by driving continuous process improvements and maintaining internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and support audits with confidence.
• Support other areas within manufacturing finance, as needed, such as inventory and/or central analytics.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

We’re seeking someone who brings both expertise and a proactive mindset:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Economics.
• Proficiency with SAP and strong Excel capabilities.
• A solid grasp of forecasting
• Proven experience in business partnering and building effective relationships.
• Analytical prowess, coupled with problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills—you’re clear, concise, and persuasive.
• A proactive, improvement-oriented attitude.
• Fluency in English
