The Position
The Senior Specialist, Financial Planning and Analysis-US Commercial, will play a key role in ensuring compliance with federal and state government pricing programs, including Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP), 340B, Medicare Part B/D, and the Veterans Affairs (VA)/Department of Defense (DOD) programs. This individual will assist in calculating, validating, and reporting government pricing metrics and support audits, policy updates, and strategic initiatives related to GP.
The role reports to US Market GP Associate Director (GP AD), supports and works closely with the U.S. finance and commercial organizations, third party outsource providers for order to cash services including contract execution and internal legal & outside counsel to help monitor, guide and assess GP impacts. The role will also provide support to Gross-to-Net team at key peak times for GtN forecasting.
Responsibilities
Support accurate and timely calculations of government pricing metrics (AMP, BP, URA, NFAMP, FCP) in compliance with applicable regulations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions to CMS, VA, and other agencies.
Partner with GP AD & third-party government pricing vendor to implement, execute, review and approve price reporting.
Partner with third-party government pricing vendor to identify and investigate errors (e.g., incorrect customer payment) and implement preventative actions to avoid future errors.
Review and analyze transactional data to ensure correct classification and identification of eligible sales.
Assist with GP system migration, updates, testing, and documentation (e.g., ICyte).
Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training documentation.
Partner with GP AD, Legal, Finance, Contracting, and Compliance teams to assess the impact of pricing, contracting strategies, and policy changes on GP metrics.
Work with Global Market Access and Franchise teams to ensure proper understanding to impacts of pricing proposals to assess impacts to Best Price and profitability.
Monitor regulatory developments; support the interpretation and implementation of new rules.
Assist in internal and external audits, including data collection, validation, and response preparation.
Provide input related to GP for the quarterly compliance process to ensure risks are identified and evaluated for financial impact.
Support ad hoc analyses, projects, and leadership reporting as needed.
Provide additional support to GtN forecasting
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (Master’s or CPA a plus).
Two to five plus years of experience in Government Pricing within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of Medicaid, 340B, Medicare Part B, and VA pricing rules and requirements.
Experience with GP systems such as ICyte, Revitas, Model N, iContracts, or similar platforms.
Possess a high degree of integrity and personal ethics.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience and Skills
Familiarity with class-of-trade analysis, price type classification, and chargeback validation.
Experience supporting government audits and inquiries.
Knowledge of commercial contracting and gross-to-net impact considerations.
