Are you an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional ready to take ownership of a high-potential therapeutic area?

Organon is seeking a skilled Account Manager to lead our neurology portfolio in Norway, focusing on strategic engagement and growth in secondary care.

This field-based role offers the opportunity to work with a breakthrough product in neurology, driving uptake and differentiation in key clinical centers. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping market strategies and building strong relationships with specialist prescribers. The role is ideally based in Central or Western Norway.

Your mission

  • Lead account management activities across targeted hospitals and clinics.

  • Drive product adoption and deepen prescribing behavior through strategic engagement.

  • Identify and act on local market access opportunities to accelerate uptake.

  • Collaborate closely with the National Sales Manager and Marketing to align on business plans and investment priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Product Promotion : Lead Specialist neurology product promotion in your territory to secondary care healthcare professionals. Deliver professional product presentations for a prescription medicine. Providing product medical education specialist advice to health care professionals including neurologists, pharmacist’s & pain specialists within multi-disciplinary teams. Ensuring relevant decision makers are clear on the clinical benefits of your products to support formulary access and funding.

  • KOL Development : Engage and develop your regional / national opinion leaders to build clincial experience with your neurology products and support therapy area medical education and formulary access in your territory.

  • Customer Support: Proactively communicate with customers through compliant channels, including face-to-face visits, virtual meetings, phone calls, and emails. Development and implementation of creative customer engagement opportunities in coordination with the Commercial Sales Manager, Medical Scientific Liaison & Product Management.

  • Meeting Management: Independent planning and implementation of medical educational meetings events, support conference / congress stands (regional, and national) including organising advanced speaker led education events in person, remote and hybrid formats.

  • Revenue and budget management: Revenue tracking as well as responsibility for the efficient and effective investment of the area budgets and participation in congresses and events.

  • Customer and competitor analysis: Build territory account plans and key performance indicators (KPI’s) .Regular market analyses to identify new customers and effective planning. Regular analysis of territory, customer and the competitive environment. Analyse & Segment business opportunities to prioritise where initiatives can deliver greatest return on investments.

  • Collaboration: Working closely with the medical and marketing team to provide value to customers and build lasting relationships. Support marketing team with country specific adaptation. Timely exchange of information within the cross-functional team.

  • Brand Building: Develop Organon's reputation the market as a trusted scientific partner in neurology.

  • Digital Channels: Maximizing the use of the CRM tools and company platforms and promotional assets to optimise digital engagement in day-to-day activities.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Several year’s experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets.

  • Strategic Business Planning – demonstrate the ability to develop and execute a strategic business plan based on customer and market insights.

  • Ability to assess and monitor ROI and sales results.

  • Problem Solving & Decision Making – ability to develop innovative solutions to deliver targeted promotion.

  • Project Management – demonstrate skills necessary to execute on defined projects, including KPI setting and measurements.

  • Knowledge of Neurology and CNS disorders is desirable.

  • Product Knowledge – demonstrates ability to apply working knowledge of Neurology product and educational value service offerings in line with customer needs.

  • Customer engagement & influencing skills – ability to effectively navigate the customers health system environment and understand their evolving needs to align objectives to optimise product access to benefit patients.

  • A high level of enthusiasm and an authentic demeanor

  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting. Experience in organising face-to-face, remote or hybrid events.

  • Excellent Communication skills, high enthusiasm, and a strong networker.

  • High resilience and persuasiveness in direct customer contact

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Willingness to travel
