Specialist Financial Planning & Analysis

The position

The purpose of the position is to:

• Support day-to-day and monthly financial work in compliance with and adherence to all corporate deadlines.
• Execute and improve the financial forecasting and management reporting.
• Support improving financial business processes.
• Partner with senior financial specialists and specific department leads to support achieving business objectives with your financial information, analysis, and actions.
• Provide financial support and advice to capital planning.

To be successful, you have good analytical skills and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You bring drive, skills, and personal impact to contribute to the financial performance of the organization. You have the potential to grow into more senior finance roles.

Welcome to our team

Reporting to the Site Finance Lead you work in a team of 5 people with operational areas to support achieving the company’s objectives. You liaise with several other Finance functions.

Responsibilities

• supporting day-to-day and monthly financial work in an accurate manner adhering to corporate deadlines,
• Assistance in preparation and review of forecasts, budget, Long Range Capital Plan (LRCP) and Long-Range Operation Plan (LROP),
• Provision of financial input and advice to senior financial specialists to support achieving business objectives,
• Support of manufacturing and inventory variance analysis,
• Provide financial support and advice to internal control framework.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

• ​Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 3 years of financial planning and analysis experience in a multinational, preferably a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of SAP and strong Excel skills, preferably experienced in use of power query.
• Understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of internal control principles.
• Pro-active attitude and self-motivated with ability to multi-task.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch.
