Manager, HR Business Partner

Job Description

In this role, you will act as a strategic HR business partner to stakeholders within our Commercial and Global Function organizations. As an HRBP, you will serve as the primary liaison between the business line and HR, addressing a range of human resources needs, including employment, performance management, compensation, talent development and management, as well as competency management. This position offers the opportunity to lead HR initiatives at the China market level or participate in global HR projects, allowing you to gain exposure to diverse HR functions and practices across different countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your understanding of business needs to shape HR strategies and objectives.
  • Provide consultation to business /function leaders on organizational structure, workforce planning, and people strategies that align with business goals.
  • Partner with the business to manage employee relations, including handling investigations of complex employee issues.
  • Oversee all talent management programs for departments
  • Actively contribute to people-related strategies across commercial initiatives, programs, and priorities.
  • Coach and assist business or functional leaders in attracting, sourcing, and retaining top talent, improving individual performance, and efficiently developing talent.
  • Collaborate closely with the One HR team to develop agile HR solutions for business challenges.
  • Lead a portion of HR projects, including talent development, leadership development, employee relations (ER), and cross-functional HR projects.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree is required; A major in Human Resources, Management, or Business is highly advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HRBP in the pharmaceutical industry preferred; experience rotating among different HR COE functions is a plus.
  • Experience with organizational changes, talent management, or project management is beneficial for success in this role.
  • Strong learning agility, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capability to problem-solve independently while applying analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English .
