Job Description

The Position

We have an exciting opportunity within our Supply Chain Management (SCM) Transformation & Performance Analytics team as Senior Specialist Performance Analytics.

You will report to the Associate Director Global Performance Analytics and will be part of a global team that works hard to lead Organon into the modern data-driven, fact-based and optimal decision-making world.

As a senior member of the team, you will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of our enterprise analytics ecosystem—comprising Power BI, Snowflake, Cortex Analytics, Streamlit applications, and AI-driven solutions.

You will work in a global team with a very dynamic environment and with key stakeholders from different levels and nationalities.

You will support Organon’s journey toward data-driven decision-making by building scalable analytics products, driving adoption of advanced technologies, and shaping the future Ways of Working within SCM.

Preferred location: Europe, ideally Prague.

Responsibilities

The SCM Transformation & Performance Analytics department is part of the Supply Chain Management division within the company’s Manufacturing and Supply (OMS). The department is responsible for creating and maintaining SCM dashboards and the analytics platform CANDOR.

The SCM Transformation & Performance Analytics team leads a community of experts who partner with the business to:

  • Enhance stability and responsiveness of supply chain processes

  • Deliver strategic programs and drive a culture of innovation

  • Cultivate a global community that works together to meet the needs of the business

Main responsibilities

  • Performance Analytics & Data Product Leadership

    • Lead end‑to‑end development of analytic products, from data ingestion and modeling through visualization and UX design.

    • Own the enterprise-wide KPI framework, ensuring consistent definitions, logic, calculations, and governance across SCM.

    • Provide technical leadership in all aspects of analytics architecture, data modeling, and dashboard design.

  • Advanced Snowflake Development

    • Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and transformations using Snowflake Scripting, Tasks, Streams, and Stored Procedures.

    • Develop modular SQL scripts using Snowflake’s Snowpark for Python to support advanced analytics and AI use cases.

    • Ensure data structures and schemas support scalable reporting, data science, and predictive analytics.

  • Cortex Analytics & AI-Driven Solutions

    • Build and deploy analytical and predictive models using Cortex Analytics tools within the Snowflake environment.

    • Integrate AI agents and automated insights generation into analytics solutions.

    • Partner with data science teams to operationalize models and embed them in dashboards and applications.

  • Streamlit & Application Development

    • Design and develop Streamlit-based analytical applications to extend insights beyond Power BI and provide interactive what‑if simulation tools.

    • Integrate Streamlit apps with Snowflake, APIs, and AI services to support advanced user workflows.

    • Ensure applications provide intuitive UX and follow enterprise-level security and governance.

  • Dashboard Development & Data Visualization

    • Build highly interactive and insight-led Power BI dashboards using advanced DAX, M Query, and optimized data models.

    • Develop reusable templates, themes, and storytelling components to improve user adoption and decision-making quality.

  • Business Engagement & Stakeholder Leadership

    • Work directly with senior SCM leadership and the Center of Excellence to prioritize analytics initiatives.

    • Lead requirement workshops, translation of business needs into technical designs, and solution validation sessions.

    • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the global analytics community.

  • Innovation & Future Ways of Working

    • Identify and pilot emerging technologies (AI agents, low-code tools, Snowpark, Streamlit, automation workflows).

    • Drive a culture of innovation and digital transformation within SCM.

    • Promote data literacy and champion new capabilities across the organization.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 5+ years in analytics, data engineering, BI development, or platform engineering.

  • Demonstrated experience building enterprise-level dashboards and data models.

  • Proven success in implementing end-to-end analytics solutions in global organizations.

  • Experience in data preparation and data warehousing projects

  • Analytics Experience

  • Experience in Microsoft BI stack with Power BI

  • Familiarity with scripting and programming

  • Advanced Excel, VBA and Power BI skills

  • Understanding of building analytics solutions from big data sets and platforms with demonstrated problem-solving capabilities

  • Excellent communicator, collaborator

  • Result oriented and "creative can-do" mentality

  • Comfortable with fast evolving and changing landscape

  • Analytically strong with an excellent feel for translation to business

  • Able to dig deep into technology without losing focus on business outcomes

  • Data Platforms & Snowflake

  • Advanced Snowflake experience including: SQL development Snowflake Scripting Streams & Tasks Stored Procedures Snowpark for Python Performance optimization Data governance & security best practices

  • Experience building analytical, predictive, or generative solutions within Cortex.

  • Hands-on experience designing or integrating: AI agents Automated insights generation Intelligent workflows

  • Application Development

  • Experience building interactive analytical apps using Streamlit (preferred) or similar frameworks.

  • BI & Visualization

  • Advanced Power BI: DAX, M Query, composite models, UX design. Strong Excel, VBA, and Power Apps/Power Automate knowledge.

  • Excellent communicator able to translate complex analytics into business language.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Self-driven, proactive, comfortable with fast-changing environments.

  • Creative thinker, eager to learn, adopt new tools, and innovate.

  • Mentor mindset and willingness to support junior team members.
