Job Description
The position
The P&B plus the derma franchises represents approximately 15% of total actual Established Brands (EB) sales. Our main audiences are GPs, traumatologist, dermatologists, and pharmacist. The P&B franchise is made by drugs for pain (coxibs) and osteoporosis. The role of having an innovative value proposition is key to maintain the healthy situation of this franchise. Is a growing area with very good expectations ahead. The derma franchise has multiple and well-known corticosteroids brands. In this area apart from GPs and dermatologist the role of hospital pharmacist as well as private market is critical for the success of the objectives. This special situation makes that it has many growing opportunities to explore. All of this makes that the opportunities and challenges ahead are very diverse. Both portfolios are in a healthy position and well recognized by our customers.
Due to the special characteristics of our EB portfolio and the drug diversity that both franchises have, the digital component in our strategy is critical to get the reach with our customers and the competitor’s differentiation that we need to get our business goals. The Brand & Customer Manager will lead the local franchise strategy working closely with the Marketing Director & the Business Unit Director.
Responsibilities
Drive successfully the full strategy outperforming our competitors. Having a constantly updated knowledge of the actions of the competition
Identify & implement innovative strategic projects to ensure business growth through improving customer experience
Maintain thorough understanding of customer perspective and develop solutions which best meet customer needs and help improve patient outcomes
Create and maintain strong relationship with key customers and medical societies to seek the best programs to provide value for health care professionals and patients.
Considering non-traditional channels to improve efficacy and efficiency when reaching our customers as well as their satisfaction
Collaborate with various functions, including Operational Excellence, Business development, Finance, and other areas to ensure optimal alignment and effective implementation of business plans
Own, develop, monitor, and correct as needed the annual profit plan and long-range plan while managing the promotional budget
Ensure an optimal demand forecast focusing on short and long term
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
University degree
MBA / Postgraduate highly valuable
1- 3 years in Marketing
Strategic Thinking
Business & Financial acumen
Analytical skills to synthesize local insights as input to the Customer Business Plan
Strong customer management and customer engagement skills
Proactivity in the pursuit of ideas and their transformation into innovations of proven economic value
Cross functional skills to ensure optimal alignment and effective implementation
Drive and Commitment
Fluent in English
