The Position

As District Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing the partnership with key channel partners and distributors in ETC channel.
Manage a team of sales representatives by ensuring that the team maximizes sales and market share through coaching and driving the sales team to achieve sales targets with strong application of sales excellence drivers and meet with company’s ethical standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
Responsible for sales objective set for ETC team and manage sales strategies to achieve sales target, improve market share and profitability
Recruit, manage, coach and develop the sales representative team to connect effectively with customers through liaising and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate the organization vision into an effective commercial strategy keeping in mind the local dynamics
Participate in developing territory sales targets and resource allocation (manpower planning)
Manage KOLs, develop tender strategy, action plan and manage reps to participate tenders, obtaining tender winning results and realize tender quota.
Determine the sales team configuration to maximize territory sales targets and potential
Collaborate effectively with marketing team in planning, organizing and implementing marketing events and promotional activities in territories including the distributor programs, HCPs, service providers, etc. and ensure that they are consistent with franchise promotional strategies
Forecast and inventory management
Market intelligence management
Provide regular and timely reports to the management team on market / customer / sales / competition movements including market trends of new & existing products
Build and maintain a strong business partnership towards company products with key accounts partners, distributors, key opinion leaders and develop new product advocates
Conduct routine field visits to understand customer needs and market dynamics to share during business meetings
Support on-going analysis and review of team performance qualitatively and quantitatively against KPIs. This includes the review new products, category, market trends, promotional programs and competitive information to identify improvement areas to drive corrective actions and provide coaching to improve performance.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Science or related discipline with at least five (5) years’ sales experience in MNC pharmaceutical industry with ETC management background
Minimum one (1) year experience in sales management and people management
Ability to adapt with the changing dynamics of pharmaceutical industry (policy, digital, ...)
Good collaboration to work well with stakeholders in each business context
Ability to build a team winning spirit and develop talent
Ability to develop clear KPIs and tracking mechanisms
Experience and good track record of establishing strong working partnership with key pharmacies & pharmacy chains are preferred
Self-starter, high level of personal motivation and results-oriented
A team player with high leadership qualities and ability to work effectively cross-functionally
Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
Ability in written and oral communication in English
