The Position

Cross Functional Expert: Supply Chain Planning(IBP) is a key function of Organon Manufacturing and Supply which envisions a digitally enabled end-to-end supply chain that gets medicines to patients and customers faster and optimizes product flow for patients globally.

Under the direction of Organon Cross Functional Expert Lead, this position will be accountable to gather requirement and map business process with the suitable design in SAP systems. He/She will be primary contributor to SAP IBP solution design, testing, deployment and operate in DevOps model in the productive environment while ensuring compliance with SDLC process in GxP systems. The ideal candidate will have strong planning process, IBP technical knowledge, integration between different SAP layers and good interpersonal skill.

Support the Cross-Functional Process Expert Lead by designing, governing, and improving end-to-end (E2E) processes across domains. Ensure process harmonization, standardization, and smooth cross-system handoffs across ERP and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Cross Functional Expert: Supply Chain Planning(IBP), the candidate would be responsible for the timely completion of tasks and actions defined by the project plan. In addition to that, the incumbent will be contributing in system configuration, designing, testing, cutover and hyper-care support for the SAP IBP and S/4 HANA systems.

  • The candidate would be responsible for all planning master data in SAP IBP and S/4 HANA systems to support processes like demand planning & forecasting, supply planning and site planning & scheduling.

  • The candidate will contribute in supply chain planning space in designing solutions on SAP IBP platform and integrating that with SAP Ariba SCC and S4/HANA. In addition to that, the candidate will be working on integration and data flows between SAP IBP and S4/HANA systems by using CPI and SDI interface.

  • The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for SAP IBP in time series and order based planning to support business processes like S&OP, Profit Planning, Demand Management and forecasting, Supply Planning, Order based planning, deployment and close loop to S4.

  • Candidate will be responsible to Develop, refine, and maintain detailed BPMN-based E2E process maps across Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Operations. Identify process variants, duplication, and optimization opportunities across regions, plants, and business units. Define cross-domain handoffs, operational controls, and integration points between systems.

  • Align process standards with XLAs, business KPIs, and compliance requirements. Assess process impacts across ERP and data platforms. Maintain a cross-system dependency matrix for E2E processes. Provide impact analysis for upcoming changes, releases, and cross-functional initiatives. Enforce modeling standards, naming conventions, and process policies.

  • Ensure proper approvals, documentation quality, and compliance with enterprise controls. Maintain the enterprise process repository and ensure consistent version management. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architecture, Data Governance, and Operations teams.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems or a related discipline or equivalent experience is required.

  • 5+ years delivery of information technology (IT) services and solutions in Supply Chain Planning functional areas that include but not limited to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Master data and SDI integration with an emphasis on SAP S4/HANA and IBP platforms.

  • 5+ years of experience with a minimum of two full life cycle projects involvement in Supply Chain planning and deployment experience in SAP Platforms like S4/HANA, IBP & CI-DS.

  • Hands on experience on configuration and design of SAP planning modules like demand planning and forecasting, supply network planning, deployment, transport load builder (TLB), SDI and CI-DS integration.

  • Experienced in using agile methodology to bring new solutions though experimental/Proof Of Concept (POC) stages to a realized fully sustained solution.

  • Strong E2E process architecture and BPMN modeling skills.

  • Excellent facilitation and cross-functional alignment capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate and coordinate with business and IT stakeholders.

  • Analytical, structured problem-solving and process thinking. Ability to influence without authority and communicate clearly. Governance-minded, detail-oriented, and organized
