Position Overview
Market Access and Pricing Manager, is a cluster position, which is responsible for all activities related to ensuring access to Organon products in EEI markets (Hungary, Balkan & Adriatic regions). This covers the development of the pricing/market access strategy in collaboration with the EEI Market Access team members, as well as its implementation.
The submission of pricing dossiers and the negotiations with authorities ask for deep knowledge of the health care and pricing system in EEI countries as well as a sound understanding of the concerned therapeutic areas. There also needs to be a strong awareness for the business implications of our pricing activities. Therefore, a strong cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders is an important mandate of this position.
Organizational Integration
This position reports into the Associate Director Pricing & Market Access EEI Cluster
Main Activities
Pricing and Reimbursement Activities (IRP, new launches preparation, products LP/RI maintenance)
Build and implement pricing/market access strategies for Organon products in EEI
Conduct price reviews for concerned products in relevant EEI countries
Take responsibility for the interactions and negotiations with the local authorities and stakeholders, regular visits of the key stakeholders (with a focus on Hungary/Adriatic/Balkans)
Regular monitoring of the local legislation
Vendors management (Hungary/Adriatic/Balkan)
Internal Collaboration
Development of Business Cases to decide on actions in the area of Market Access and Pricing
Strong collaboration with Commercial, Marketing and Sales team to implement cooperation contracts with business partners
Pro-active support of our business colleagues with product launches or with late life cycle management of products losing exclusivity
Consulting of the finance department for forecasting purposes, pricing assumptions preparation
Regular price monitoring
Collaboration with Regional and Global
Teams Point of contact for pricing related questions in Hungary and Adriatic for all products.
Assures an effective two-way communication between EEI/regional/global teams.
Assures involvement of all relevant key stakeholders in order to develop and implement Organon EEI pricing strategies.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in life sciences, (para-)medical or economics
Minimum 3-5 years in the pharmaceutical industry
Proven track record in pharmaceutical market access
Experience in Marketing, Medical, Policy or Clinical Research would be an asset
Language: One of EEI languages is mother tongue or similar proficiency. English proficient.

Demonstrated experience and skill in conducting performance and needs analysis and ability to summarize and communicate needs and recommendations to management at all levels verbally and in writing. Demonstrate ability to work independently.
Travel time
Expected 50%+ of working time (local stakeholders management, vendors coordination, internal meetings)
