About the Role
The Andrologist plays a vital role in the fertility journey by delivering high-quality laboratory services and compassionate patient support that directly contribute to treatment success. This position is well suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Working closely with a multidisciplinary care team, the Andrologist ensures accurate testing and specimen processing while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. In addition to core andrology responsibilities, this role is cross-trained to support front desk and medical assistant functions as needed, helping ensure seamless clinic operations, continuity of care, and an exceptional patient experience
We are seeking an Andrologist to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility – Michigan in Saginaw, MI. This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday–Friday, with flexibility to work 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM based on clinic needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct andrology laboratory functions, including semen analysis, specimen processing, sperm preparation, cryopreservation support, and completion of quality control documentation.

Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, and relevant clinical information prior to provider encounters.

Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, treatments, and care coordination in accordance with established clinical protocols and scope of practice.

Perform clinical and diagnostic tasks including vital sign measurement, phlebotomy, specimen collection and handling, medication administration, and injections as permitted by licensure and scope.

Educate patients on procedures, specimen collection instructions, treatment plans, medication protocols, and follow-up care to support understanding and compliance.

Prepare, clean, and maintain examination rooms and laboratory areas, ensuring equipment is functioning properly and supplies are stocked and readily available.

Accurately and timely document clinical activities, laboratory results, and patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR) in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals while supporting efficient clinic and laboratory workflow.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical and laboratory environment by adhering to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Assist with inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and stocking of clinical and laboratory supplies.

Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism, discretion, and a high level of customer service.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Experience:
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- At least one year of experience in a front desk, medical assistant, or other patient-facing role is a preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with compound microscopes and aseptic techniques, and ability to handle hazardous specimens.
- Completion of on-the-job training and any required certification exams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Must be willing to cross train in medical assistant and front desk roles.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
