About the Role

The Part-Time Medical Assistant is a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Part-Time Medical Assistant, you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Ohio in Independence, OH. This is a part-time, onsite role with a flexible morning schedule. Hours can be arranged between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with typical shifts ranging from 3–6 hours per day. We are happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that fits within this timeframe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update patient information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Perform basic diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and available.
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
  • Ensure a safe and organized environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Education & Licensure:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and certification required
    • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • 2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
    • Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
    • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Flexibility:
    • Must be flexible and available to travel to other satellite clinic locations and provide coverage on holidays and weekends as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
