The RN Clinic Manager is a vital part of clinic operations, providing leadership and hands-on support to clinical and medical assistant staff. This role focuses on coaching, development, scheduling oversight, and performance management while ensuring compliance with policies, infection control, and regulatory standards. The RN Clinic Manager partners with leadership on training and operational initiatives, supports day-to-day clinic operations, and fosters a positive, collaborative work environment. This role also provides direct clinical support to providers and patients as needed.
We are seeking an RN Clinic Manager to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Arizona in Tucson, AZ. This is a full-time, onsite position working Monday through Friday. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Team Leadership: Oversee Medical/Clinical Assistants, including staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and accountability.
- Clinic Operations: Manage daily clinic operations, work with providers to improve workflows, and coordinate communication between the clinical team, front office, and andrology.
- Surgery Center Oversight: Oversee daily surgery center operations, including retrieval workflows, anesthesia coordination, narcotics management, and appropriate staffing and coverage.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain DHS standards, ensure ongoing inspection readiness, and oversee compliance with clinical policies, documentation, and safety requirements.
- Inventory and Supplies: Oversee ordering, inventory management, and appropriate supply levels for both the clinic and surgery center.
- Quality and Patient Experience: Identify opportunities for process improvement, address operational concerns, and ensure we are maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Procedural Nursing: Function as the surgery RN during procedures as needed, including patient preparation, preoperative assessments, medication administration, monitoring, and coordination with physicians and anesthesia providers.
- PACU and Recovery: Provide direct nursing care during post-anesthesia recovery, including monitoring vital signs, assessing pain and recovery status, identifying complications, and ensuring patients meet established discharge criteria.
- Patient Safety: Ensure appropriate documentation, medication reconciliation, patient education, discharge instructions, and adherence to clinical protocols and nursing standards.
Position Requirements
- Education & Licensure:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- Must hold a current, valid Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license or a valid multistate compact nursing license in good standing.
- Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Skills:
