About us

Pomelo Care is a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, engineers and problem solvers who are passionate about improving care for moms and babies. We are transforming outcomes for pregnant people and babies with evidence-based pregnancy and newborn care at scale. Our technology-driven care platform enables us to engage patients early, conduct individualized risk assessments for poor pregnancy outcomes, and deliver coordinated, personalized virtual care throughout pregnancy, NICU stays, and the first postpartum year. We measure ourselves by reductions in preterm births, NICU admissions, c-sections and maternal mortality; we improve outcomes and reduce healthcare spend.

Role Description

We are seeking a driven and creative Product Marketing Associate to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our go-to-market strategy, helping to shape how we introduce our products to the world and drive their adoption. You will work at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Marketing to translate product features into compelling value propositions that resonate with our target audience.

This role would report directly to the Director of Product Marketing, supporting the growth of B2B marketing at Pomelo Care. This is an opportunity to have direct ownership of driving growth in our Medicaid market.

What You'll Do

  • Messaging & Positioning: Collaborate with the Director to develop and refine product messaging that clearly articulates our value proposition and differentiates us from the competition.
  • Sales Enablement: Create and maintain essential sales tools and collateral, including pitch decks, product datasheets, battle cards, case studies, and demo scripts to empower our sales team to win.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, sharing key insights with the Product and Marketing teams.
  • Content Creation: Partner with the demand generation and event teams to create compelling marketing assets—such as blog posts, webinars, and customer stories—that drive awareness and lead generation.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in product marketing, content marketing, or product management within a B2B digital health, SaaS, or technology company.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and simplifying complex concepts.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience, specifically marketing to Medicaid health plans.
  • Experience creating sales enablement materials and marketing content.
  • RFP management and content creation.
  • Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis techniques.
  • A self-starter with the ability to operate independently and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with marketing and sales tools such as [e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana].

Why you should join our team

We strive to create an environment where employees from all backgrounds are respected. We value working across disciplines, moving fast, data-driven decision making, learning, and always putting the patient first. We also offer:

  • Competitive healthcare benefits

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $105,000-$120,000 plus a bonus. We expect most candidates to fall in the middle of the range. We also believe that your personal needs and preferences should be taken into consideration, so we allow some choice between equity and cash.
