Role OverviewWe’re hiring a strategic leader to expand and deepen our medical partner ecosystem. This role will grow and manage our network of fertility clinics, agencies, and other key partners. You’ll lead all business development efforts and long term expansion strategy with medical providers and fertility executives—from outbound pipeline generation to contract negotiation, to driving mutual growth.
Responsibilities
Lead Strategic Partnership Expansion
- Manage and Expand partnerships with fertility clinics, surrogacy agencies, egg banks, and adjacent partners. Own the full business development lifecycle.
- Manage pricing, legal/compliance, and end-to-end contract execution.
- Stay close to the fertility market and surface opportunities for new partnership categories
Support Network Expansion Strategy
- Define and execute a scalable approach to national and regional network growth, including prioritization frameworks by geography, volume potential, and strategic value.
- Provide mutually beneficial reporting with the executive teams at our network partners to ensure Sunfish drives continuous value for partners. Monitor reviews and feedback loops.
- Partner with Finance, Product, and BI on pricing and partnership strategies to drive Sales/Revenue goals and adoption.
Strengthen Product and Operational Integration
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and partnership teams to ensure Sunfish gathers feedback and continually improves our products.
- Inform product roadmap based on partner feedback and surface ideas to deepen integration (e.g. co-branded programs).
Requirements
- 10+ years in sales, business development, or partnerships—ideally in healthcare, fertility, or provider-facing SaaS
- Strong track record of closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
- Skilled in contract negotiation and working cross-functionally with legal, marketing, and ops
- Executive-level communicator with ability to gain trust from medical providers and C-suite stakeholders
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
- Willingness to travel frequently, to our partner locations and conferences
Nice to Have
- Background in digital health, women’s health, or fertility benefits
- Familiarity with payer-provider dynamics or consumer lending in healthcare
