Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Women’s Health & Gynecology (4-Day Work Week)
Brooklyn, NY, USA · Manhattan, New York, NY, USA
USD 150k-180k / year + Equity
About Tia
Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare — one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to redefine whole-person care across our Williamsburg and SoHo clinics. Our greatest current need is for a provider who specializes in gynecology, reproductive health, and sexual health. While you will address holistic preventive and behavioral health needs because Tia treats the whole person, this is not a general primary care-focused opening.
Why This Role Stands Out
The 4-Day Work Week (No Weekends): Enjoy a sustainable Monday–Thursday schedule with a highly competitive base salary ($150,000 - $180,000).
Zero-Burnout Charting: Access to AI-supported documentation tools specifically designed to reduce your charting burden.
Protected Admin Time: Built-in, protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration.
Total Rewards: Annual performance bonuses and equity grants—benefits rarely offered in standard clinical roles.
Prime Locations: Split your week between two beautiful, thoughtfully designed clinics in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
What You’ll Do
Gynecology & Reproductive Health (Core Focus): Provide routine and complex gynecologic care, including Pap smears, contraception counseling, STI screening, and evaluation of urinary and vaginal symptoms.
Procedural Care: Perform IUD insertions and other outpatient procedures within your training and Tia’s clinical scope.
Whole-Person Support: Evaluate and manage common overlapping concerns such as anxiety, depression, hypertension, basic dermatologic conditions, and acute primary care needs, coordinating with Tia’s broader clinical team when escalated care is needed.
Care Coordination: Review test results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and maintain consistent clinical and patient experience standards across in-person and virtual care.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with physicians, APPs, mental health clinicians, and clinic operations to deliver seamless, integrated care.
What You’ll Bring
Requirements:
Credentials: Active New York NP or PA license; Current national board certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCC, or NCCPA); Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain before starting). Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) certification is highly preferred.
Clinical Expertise: 2+ years of independent outpatient clinical experience with significant, core experience independently managing gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns.
Clinical Agility: Strong judgment regarding which concerns can be safely managed virtually and which require in-person evaluation. Comfort working within a collaborative, technology-enabled care model.
Care Philosophy: A strong commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care.
Preferred but not required: Experience managing menopause, abnormal bleeding, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, fertility, pelvic pain, or sexual health concerns; experience in an integrated or multidisciplinary care setting.
Training & Development
While candidates must join with a strong existing foundation in outpatient gynecology, Tia will provide additional paid training in areas such as virtual care pathways, menopause care, sexual wellness, weight management, medical dermatology, and our proprietary clinical workflows.
