2. Role
Are you a consultant/ex-consultant who thrives at the intersection of strategic problem-solving and data-driven execution? We're hiring a Director, Project Management Office (PMO) and Data to serve as a strategic partner to our COO, driving high-impact initiatives and generating insights that shape company-wide decisions.
This role combines top-tier consulting rigor with scrappy startup execution. You'll lead our PMO, build the data analytics capabilities leadership relies on, and establish an operational center of excellence—creating the frameworks, tooling, and standards that enable every team to operate with clarity, speed, and impact. Think: McKinsey/Bain/BCG problem-solving frameworks meets hands-on Tableau dashboards and SQL queries.
You'll own end-to-end strategic workstreams—from competitive analysis to operational efficiency—while building the data function that enables smarter decision-making across the organization. This high-visibility role reports to our COO with direct contact with our CEO and leadership team, offering significant autonomy to shape both strategic direction and operational excellence at a fast-growing healthcare startup.

3. Manager
You will report to Mara Castro, Chief Operating Officer.
4. Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Management & Execution
- Lead 3-5 concurrent strategic initiatives across functions from scoping through implementation, using consulting frameworks to structure opportunities and drive desired results while establishing best-in-class project management standards
- Build and maintain project management infrastructure including trackers, roadmaps, status reporting, and executive updates to ensure cross-functional alignment and accountability that serves as the operational model for the organization
- Develop business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to inform strategic decisions (e.g., market expansion, new service lines, partnership opportunities)
- Data Analytics & Insights Generation
- Build and maintain executive dashboards and KPI tracking systems in Tableau/BI tools, writing complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from Snowflake/BigQuery
- Generate actionable insights from diverse datasets (user behavior, clinical outcomes, operational metrics, financial performance) through deep-dive analyses on conversion funnels, retention cohorts, and unit economics
- Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives for executive leadership and board presentations
- Team Leadership & Development
- Build and manage a small team (3 teammates initially) focused on project management and analytics, establishing this function as the operational center of excellence for the company
- Define and embed standards for execution excellence across the organization—from how we scope projects to how we measure impact—ensuring teams have frameworks and tools to operate at the highest level
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and operational excellence through mentorship on consulting methodologies and analytical rigor
- Executive Partnership & Strategic Planning
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the COO and executive team on strategic priorities and operational challenges
- Support quarterly and annual strategic planning processes, including performance tracking, and identification of opportunities
5. Requirements
We are looking for exceptional candidates who have:
- 5+ years relevant experience, with 3+ years at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or equivalent), with a focus on healthcare
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with modern data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Strong data visualization skills with Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools, including dashboard design and development
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to C-suite executives
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in telehealth, digital health, or healthcare services companies
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory environment, insurance/reimbursement, or clinical operations
- Strong business acumen and comfort with financial modeling, unit economics, and scenario analysis
- Experience managing and developing junior team members
- Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment (Series A-C)

8. Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive compensation package
- Total possible compensation salary: $187,000
- Base compensation between $150k-$170k
- Performance-based cash bonus of up 10%
