RMA of NY is currently seeking full time Registered Nurses to join our growing IVF teams in our Mount Kisco, NY office. You will also have the opportunity to float as an OR/PACU RN in our ASC center as well. This position will require one to assess patient history and review lab results; explain and coordinate treatment plans for patients and update patient records. You must be motivated and a self-starter and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The ability to meet deadlines and follow-up with patients in a clear, concise and professional manner is absolutely required.

Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans while working on the OR/PACU side

• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received IV sedation. conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
• Provide patient education

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• NYS licensed RN, with no restrictions
• At least two years of nursing experience preferred
• BSN (Bachelor's in Nursing)
• Experience in women’s health care or IVF preferred
• Current BLS and/or ACLS certification
• Over 1 year nursing experience and PACU experience is strongly preferred

Excellent interpersonal, leadership and verbal and written communications skills are required. Must be able to work weekends and some holidays, as assigned. RMA of NY offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay: $92,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year
