This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.

We are currently seeking candidates for a part-time weekend Embryology Laboratory Assistant to work in our fast paced, high volume, Embryology Lab located at our Fairfax, VA office. This position will be every other weekend (Sat/Sun), 6:30am- 3:00pm

How You'll Contribute:

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the weekend Embryology Lab Assistant is responsible for:

• Administrative duties and data entry to support the lab team
• Media and dish preparation
• Assist in proper sample identification (chain of custody)
• Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for equipment used in the IVF laboratory

What You'll Bring:

The skills and education we need are:

• Coursework in biology science or related field preferred
• Training is provided but a minimum of one year clinical/research laboratory experience preferred.
• Tissue culture experience a plus.
• A great opportunity for individuals interested in gaining laboratory experience and exposure to a successful fertility practice.
