We have an immediate opening for a part time Fertility Recovery Room Assistant to join our RMA of New York team at our Eastside practice and floats to our Brooklyn practice as needed. The schedule is working Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM including a weekend and holiday rotation. The weekend and holiday hours are from 7:00 AM or 8:00AM to 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM. The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Fertility Recovery Room Assistant is responsible for:
- Monitoring patient flow
- Escorting patients for procedures
- Preparing recovery rooms between patients
- Maintain infection control standards
- Responding to inquiries from multi-disciplinary medical staff, etc.
- Ability to assist OR staff with autoclave and patient transfers
What You'll Bring:
The skills and education we need are:
- High School Diploma is required.
- One year of related experience is preferred.
- Prior Recovery Room/ OR/surgical experience is a plus.
- Nursing Assistant, HHA, or Medical Assistant Certification is a plus.
- Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
