Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Per Diem OR Admin Medical Assistant to join our team at Reproductive Science Centers of the Bay Area in Menlo Park, CA.

• Schedule: Per Diem. Hours will vary.
• Compensation: $26 to $32 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the OR Admin Medical Assistant will:

• Answer phones and schedule appointments as well as general administrative tasks.
• Prepares patients for treatment including taking patient history and vitals.
• Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties and answering questions.
• Assist physicians in our operating room during procedures relating to in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
• Maintain sterile field during operating room set-up and procedures Document procedures accurately and completely.
• Keeps a log of all maintenance and dates of services.
• Maintain logs and other records of medical procedures.
• Clean/turn over rooms.
• Empty red bags and replace them.
• Perform patient-care functions under the supervision of the physician.

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• 2+ Years of Medical Assistant Experience
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn at all times.
