Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Embryologist / Senior Embryologist to join our team at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York in New York, New York (Eastside).

  • Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday OR Wednesday through Saturday, 10-hour shifts with start times varying daily based on business needs, and the ability to work holidays and float to the Brooklyn location as needed
  • Compensation: $90,000 to $150,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Embryologist / Senior Embryologist will:

  • Perform quality control procedures
  • Perform laboratory set-up
  • Perform media and culture dish preparations
  • Perform sperm preparations
  • Perform conventional inseminations
  • Perform oocyte retrievals
  • Perform fertilization assessments
  • Perform embryo cryopreservations and thaws
  • Perform biopsies
  • Perform ICSI

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.

Qualifications and Skills Include:

  • Ph.D., MS or BS in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science required
  • Minimum 3 years or more of specific embryology clinical laboratory experience required
  • Must have the ability to perform concentrated and complex mental activity, with frequent involvement in complex and highly technical situations
  • Must have the ability to make sound and independent judgments based on laboratory protocols, and be able to collaborate with other multidisciplinary team members in an appropriate fashion
  • Must have the aptitude to learn to make appropriate judgments about the clinical significance of laboratory data
  • Must have the skills to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
  • Must be able to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
