Opportunity Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Intern - Embryology to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time; Employment is estimated to begin on September 22, 2026 and end March 26, 2027

In this role, the Laboratory Intern - Embryology will:
- Observe proper sample collection specific to the reproductive field
- Observe andrology procedures including assessment of semen quality, sperm preparation for intra-uterine insemination and sperm cryopreservation (freezing)
- Observe Andrology and Embryology sample preparations (i.e. labeling and aliquoting)
- Observe Embryo vitrification preparation (i.e. straw labeling)
- Provide support for embryo biopsy sample shipping
- Perform charting and review of patient results
- Perform and document quality control for procedures and equipment used in the laboratories
- Perform inventory, ordering and stocking of laboratory supplies
- Assist with special projects that provide value to the lab
- Perform general office duties and all other tasks as requested by physicians, director and embryologists.

Qualifications and Skills Include:
- Must be a student currently enrolled in the Drexel University cooperative education program (Co-op)
- Experience in an embryology/andrology laboratory preferred

Ability to multitask, support team and demonstrate a willingness to assist as needed without prompt
