How You Will Make an Impact

Frida is looking for a dynamic Market Director, Nordics, to lead the region's commercial execution. This individual will be responsible for scaling Frida's presence in the nordics through direct sales and marketing efforts, driving retail partnerships, managing the local team and P&L, and building brand equity. The Market Director will report to the VP of International and will partner cross-functionally with global teams in the US and across Europe.The ideal candidate will be a seasoned commercial leader with strong experience driving consumer products growth in the Nordics, managing local marketing strategies, and developing top-tier retail relationships across baby, pharmacy, grocery, and e-commerce channels. The candidate must also possess excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, and team development skills.

Responsibilities to include:

Commercial Leadership & Sales Management:

  • Full ownership of P&L and business growth targets
  • Lead all aspects of Frida’s direct sales strategy across key retail, pharmacy, grocery, e-commerce, and specialty channels
  • Manage and deepen relationships with leading retailers
  • Drive sell-in of new products and in-store merchandising through superior customer relationships and commercial planning
  • Negotiate commercial terms and drive best-in-class execution of joint business plans
  • Manage forecast and demand planning in collaboration with Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Finance teams
  • Partner with HQ to inform pricing, promotional strategy, and product positioning for each market

Marketing Leadership:

  • Build the strategy for local marketing plans aligned with global brand guidelines and market nuances
  • Partner with Frida’s Global Marketing and Creative teams to localize campaigns, drive PR, digital, influencer, and social media activations that build brand awareness and drive sell-through
  • Oversee teams and/or agencies that help Manage social media community presence, ensuring accurate and relevant content and alignment with sales promotions
  • Oversee teams dedicate to localization of packaging, marketing materials, and educational content in accordance with local regulations and consumer preferences

Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, consumer insights, and category dynamics to identify growth opportunities
  • Present regular business updates and recommendations to Frida global leadership
  • Identify new channels and strategic opportunities for market expansion and innovation
  • Build long-term plans to scale Frida in the region

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive sales, marketing, and P&L leadership experience within the consumer products space (CPG, Baby/Mom/Wellness/Health, or adjacent industries highly preferred)
  • Proven track record of driving significant sales growth and building brands within the region
  • Deep experience managing relationships with top retailers across pharmacy, grocery, and digital channels
  • Strong team leadership and coaching skills; ability to attract, develop, and retain talent
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly entrepreneurial, results-driven, and hands-on leader able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into executable plans
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
